Kimchi Tofu Soup with Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pack of SUMM! Beef Mandu Dumplings
  • 1 tsp of sesame oil
  • 1/2 yellow onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup of kimchi
  • 1 tsp Korean red pepper paste (Gochujang)
  • 2 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 block of soft tofu
  • 1 stalk of green onion for garnish

Directions

  1. Heat sesame oil on medium high heat in a saucepan or Korean style pot (in the video)
  2. Sauté onions and garlic until translucent then add the kimchi and stir
  3. Add the water to the pot along with the Korean pepper paste, fish sauce, sugar, soy sauce
  4. Boil for 10 mins then add the SUMM! dumplings and tofu and boil for another 5 minutes until cooked.
  5. Add green onion for garnish
  6. Enjoy!
