Chicken Gyoza Soup

Looking for a warm hug? This one is sure to satisfy! For those chilly days where you need a little warming up from the inside out, have a bowl of this heartwarming soup!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg SUMM! Sesame Ginger Chicken Gyoza
  • 2 cans chicken stock
  • 2 cups rice stick vermicelli noodles
  • 1/2 lb broccoli, cut into pieces
  • 1 tsp crushed Sichuan peppercorns (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy Sauce
  • 2 slices fresh ginger
  • 1 lime quartered
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Place rice stick noodles in a large bowl and pour boiling water over to cover noodles. Let rest until softened and reserve in the water.
  2. In a medium saucepan, add chicken stock, sesame oil, soy sauce, fresh ginger and crushed Sichuan peppercorns if desired. Place over high heat and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce to low simmer and add gyoza and broccoli.
  4. Heat until gyoza is warmer through and broccoli is tender.
  5. Drain rice noodles and place a portion in each bowl. Spoon in gyoza and broccoli and then fill each bowl with soup stock.
  6. Serve with squeezed lime juice, toasted sesame seeds and garnish with cilantro.
